We are a friendly small town family located at the heart of North Dakota. Our passion is raising our extremely wonderful purebred Shih Tzu pups & Sphynx cats.
We are VERY SMALL SCALE breeders. We spend time with ALL of our dogs every day. They all get lots of love and attention.
Our pups are all raised with us in our home enviroment. We do have a very nice separate kennel building right by our house that is heated and air conditioned. Here we can keep everything clean and provide safe space for our dogs. We can separate for breeding and give the dogs their own space. NONE OF OUR DOGS LIVE IN CRATES. Mommy dogs do not raise their pups in crates, they have their own comfortable room with their bed, litterbox, dishes and room to play. Guaranteed your pup will be very well socialized and used to lots of love. Our dogs spend alot of time in our home and playing with us outside or going for walks with us. They enjoy their regular grooming sessions and are kept clean & happy. They will be raised with young children and our sphynx cats.

We breed for health, temperment, & type. We want you to have a beautiful, healthy, well adjusted family member for many years to come! With years of experience with many toy breeds and some large breeds I can say without a doubt that Shih Tzu's are superior house companions. Most other breeds started out with a purpose other than house companions - most were bred for some type of use in hunting - but not the sweet lil shih tzu, they have always been bred to be loyal house companions and they are very good at their job. Their goal is to please you. The love to cuddle and please you in the home - easily trained and extremely sociable. Will steal your heart and the hearts of your visitors!
Our Shih Tzu's are of the small size class,a toy breed. Ours happen to come from small side of the standard lines, usually in the 7-12lb range. Shih Tzu standard is 8-16lbs. Pups will grow to be apprx 7 to 12lbs as adults, tiny lil sweeties. Sometimes there will be the exception of ones who will stay even smaller than this or ones who may get a bit bigger. We are not here to give false claims on the size of our dogs, we do our best to judge by lineage & the size of the puppy at the time of sale as to what it may be as an adult. We know they will be beautiful wonderful toy breed dogs and believe you will be very glad you chose a Posh Pixie Pups Shih Tzu. Our beautiful shih tzus are purebred & most are AKC registered.
